As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, Camp Fire USA Central Puget Sound Council has never been more relevant, more responsive, more essential than it is today. With a century of service, experience and effectiveness in advancing our mission of building caring, confident youth and future leaders, Camp Fire USA:
- Fosters a strong ethic of service and helps each child gain a new sense of self-confidence, independence and teamwork that last a lifetime
- Connects children with the natural world and builds their commitment to environmental stewardship
- Supports children's academic readiness, social and emotional learning, and decision-making skills
- Empowers young leaders by teaching youth the importance of building strong and vital communities
- Strengthens vulnerable families and helps them forge strong community connections
- Engages children and youth with health challenges, special needs and disabilities
